General Questions about Mobile Banking

It's easy! Just:

  1. Search: Find the Eika Mobile Banking app in the App Store (for iPhone) or Google Play (for Android).
  2. Download: Install the app on your device.
  3. Log in: Use your BankID to access your account.

Want to make things even easier? After your first login, activate face recognition for super quick access next time. Just go to 'Settings' in the app, then 'Login and security', and turn it on.

If you have a D-number, we are unable to issue you a BankID. However, we can assist you in logging into our mobile banking service without a BankID. Please contact our customer service by phone or email for further assistance.

It's easy to block your card if you lose it or think it might be stolen. Just follow these steps:

  1. Go to your banking app or website.
  2. Find the "Cards" section.
  3. Select "Block/replace card".

Need to find your card? You can block it temporarily while you search. If you can't find it, you can block it permanently and order a new one. Your new card details will be in your banking app before you get the physical card.

Finding and using your digital card is easy! Log into your mobile or online banking and click on the "Cards" menu. If you have multiple cards, select the one you want a digital version of. Card details such as card number, expiration date, and security code will be displayed for a short period.

If you order a new debit card or apply for a new credit card before 7 pm the previous evening, you will be able to see and use your new card details the next day. You don't have to wait for your physical card to be produced and mailed before you can use your card in apps or shop online.

Sending money abroad is easy and secure from both your mobile and online banking. Log in, find the "Payments" menu, and select "International payments". Choose the country you want to send money to, fill in the recipient's bank details, including IBAN and SWIFT/BIC codes, as well as the amount and currency you want to send.

Finish by checking that all information is correct and confirm the payment with your BankID.

Please note that there may be limits on how much you can send, and fees may apply depending on the transaction amount and recipient country.

 

To approve payments abroad without BankID, customers must enable biometric login (such as Face ID) both in their phone settings and in Eika Mobilbank.

 

Here's how to enable biometric login in Eika Mobile Bank:

 

  1. Open the Eika Mobile Bank app and go to the menu.
  2. Select "Profile and settings".
  3. Go to "Login and security".
  4. Under "Login and signing method", choose "Biometrics". Please note that the biometric function must be enabled in your phone's general settings before you can do this.
